FjordSauna Aurland floats peacefully on the Aurlandsfjord, offering uninterrupted views of the mountains and fjord. Perched atop a floating dock connected by a short bridge, this beautifully crafted sauna invites you to relax, recharge, and immerse yourself in nature.

  • Your Sauna Journey.

    • Greeted by our Sauna Master on arrival

    • Change into your swimwear in the on-site changing room

    • Use the outdoor shower or take a refreshing dip in the fjord before entering the sauna (optional)

    • Alternate between steamy sauna sessions and cold fjord plunges for the ultimate rejuvenating experience

    • You will receive a small disposable towel to sit on inside the sauna. This towel is not suitable for drying off, as it will become wet during your session. Bring a larger towel, or rent one from us upon arrival.

  • You’ll find FjordSauna Aurland at Odden 13B, 5745 Aurlandsvangen — right in the town center, directly on the dock.
    We’re located just in front of the historic Aurland Shoe Factory, next to Wangen Apartments and the ferry dock for fjord cruises and express boats.

    A short walk from Vangsgaarden and Hotel Aurlandsfjord makes it easy to reach on foot.
    Parking is available in the town center (paid parking).

Our shared sauna experiences offer a social and relaxing way to enjoy the sauna while meeting new people. Each guest books their own spot, making it ideal for individuals or friends. Choose between classic shared sauna, shared sauna ritual or silent sauna.

  • Relax and unwind in a 90-minute shared sauna session, enjoying the heat, fjord views, and friendly social atmosphere.

  • A 90-minute shared session with 30 minutes guided by our Sauna Master, including heat rituals, essential oils, body scrub, music, and cooling elements, followed by 60 minutes to enjoy on your own.

  • A 90-minute session of pure calm: no talking, no music, no alcohol — just your breath, the heat, and the fjord view.
